Hi Everyone... this  is what happened this  morning:

We had no visiting Rotarians  and no guests.

Jason opened the meeting by updating us on the May 2020 Lift Bridge Celebration which will be on May 15 and May 16.  The 16th of course is our BBB Event and the Stillwater Chamber has agreed to help us promote our event as part of the weekend celebration.  In return we will most likely help with a Spaghetti Dinner and Street Dance Event Friday night.  Jason will give us more information as we move along.

The Board voted on new Membership Levels starting July 1st.  They will be added to the bylaws an placed on the website:
a. Regular Membership--Reminder that dues are being raised from $160 per quarter to $170 per quarter.

c. Family Membership--One immediate family member of a current club member will have 20% off membership dues ($136 per quarter).
d. Corporate Membership--One employee registered with RI, company can designate 2 or more employees to attend meetings. $500 per quarter.

Jerry McConnell was awarded his first Paul Harris Fellow pin by Jason in Lonny's absence.  Jerry is very happy to be a part of the Club and delighted to receive his Paul Harris.

Jeanne Matlock announced that donations to the Youth Drop In Center will be collected at the first meeting of every month.  Moving forward, Mary Parchetta will be in charge of that.

Jeff Nelson reminded us on June 27th the Thirsty Thursday will be at the Seven Vines Vineyard...any questions? give Jeff a call.

Del Peterson wanted us to know that he will be having a wonderful Garage Sale this coming Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Sales will begin at 9 am.  His address is 1201 West Willard Street.

As today was the passing of the gavel from Jason to Bob Gray, Jason reminisced about his journey as President.  He took us back to November 2015 when he accepted the role of president elect and then reflected on the many events and projects and meetings that have taken place since that time...way too many to mention in the newsletter.  Suffice it to say that many of the events and meeting were the best attended ever...according to Jason...and  that includes the Picnic, the Halloween Parade at Boutwells, the Holiday Party, the Roadside Clean-up---you get the picture.  Jason thanked everyone for all the help  he received this past year and is grateful for his experience as president.  Bob Gray, our incoming president, presented Jason with a Rotary jacket and hat and thanked him for all his good work.

At the conclusion of today's meeting, Bob sent us out for the first  time ---to Be Rotarians that Connect to the World.
