Despite the wet setup, the rain stopped at noon and the best Brewers Bazaar was underway. The event was another huge success. Thank you to all participants including the brewers, the sponsors, the vendors, the band, the boat staff and all Stillwater Sunrise Rotary Club Members who worked to raise money for our many service projects.
This is not just another beer festival. This one's unique for several reasons. One reason is its setting aboard the Avalon Riverboat. Overlook the beautiful St. Croix River in historic downtown Stillwater on a sunny Saturday afternoon in May while enjoying delicious craft brews. Another reason is its value. For only $35, you get 4 hours to sample some of the best regional beers poured directly from the brewers themselves. This year the event is scheduled to feature Lift Bridge, Surly, Summit, Brau Brothers, Flat Earth, August Schell, Big Wood Brewery, Badger Hill, Leech Lake Brewing, Bad Weather Brewery, Tail Slap Beer Company, Tin Whiskers, Excelsior Brewing, Third Street Brewhouse, American Sky Beer, Lucid, Fulton, Finnegans, St. Croix Brewing, Olvalde Farm & Brewing, Still-H2O and the St. Croix Valley Homebrewers Association. In addition, you'll get a commemorative pilsner glass and a brat. The final reason is its cause. This event is presented by the members of the Stillwater Sunrise Rotary Club. All the proceeds from this fun event help support our Club's many service projects.
Join us on May 18th for some beautiful scenery, live music by The Thundermen, great cheese from the Bass Lake Cheese Factory, raffle prizes, great conversations and of course plenty of excellent beer.
This is a popular event with limited space. We sold out in advance last year and we expect to do so again this year, so order your tickets now and don't be standing on the dock while the rest of us are enjoying the beer.
Do you have a group of 25+? Let us know and save $5/ticket.
For those who are designated drivers or not sampling beer, you will not need a ticket to enter the event. Soda, water and food will be available for you to purchase separately.
If you are a regional brewer (large or small) and interested in showcasing your brew at the 7th Annual Bazaar on May 18, 2013, please contact our Club. Join us for this wonderful day by the St. Croix River while helping to raising money for a great organization.
Space is limited so don't delay.
