Stillwater, Minnesota - Chartered on September 19, 1984, the Stillwater Sunrise Rotary Club has become the service organization of choice for those persons in the Stillwater area who wish to make an impact on the needs of the community, local or international, by exemplifying “Service Above Self” in an atmosphere of fun, friendship and satisfaction.

The mission of the Stillwater Sunrise Rotary Club is to encourage and demonstrate the ideals of service – leadership and personal commitment – which focus on addressing real community concerns and ensure that projects we undertake have relevance to and impact on our community. We act in unison among friends and with common goals: to improve the quality of life for all. We are also committed to supporting the programs of Rotary International and the Rotary Foundation to achieve world understanding and peace through international humanitarian, educational, and cultural exchange programs.

Founded in Chicago in 1905, Rotary celebrated 100 years of service in 2005. The Rotary Foundation has awarded more than US$1.6 billion in grants, which are administered at the local level.
