Overview

RDEP is an initiative to offer the best learning and educational facilities (1^st – 10^th Grade) to remote villages using state of art technology.

Key Points

• turn-key, fully functional distance education package
• stand alone computer system with UPS and projector
• rugged, fully debugged hardware/software
• chapter-wise school syllabus (1^st  to 10^th std)
• question bank on all subjects
• educational games developed by psychologist
• cost around Rs. 75K/system  ($1675 US)

Goal:

• donate minimum of 200 fully functional and fully integrated systems (2010 -11)

Funding:

• based on partial district sponsored funding mechanism for eligible clubs

Objective:

• enhance passing success rates at rural schools and other lower income schools.
• creating innovative global youth
• confidence booster
• making learning a visual delight
