Overview
RDEP is an initiative to offer the best learning and educational facilities (1st – 10th Grade) to remote villages using state of art technology.
Key Points
- turn-key, fully functional distance education package
- stand alone computer system with UPS and projector
- rugged, fully debugged hardware/software
- chapter-wise school syllabus (1st to 10th std)
- question bank on all subjects
- educational games developed by psychologist
- cost around Rs. 75K/system ($1675 US)
Goal:
- donate minimum of 200 fully functional and fully integrated systems (2010 -11)
Funding:
- based on partial district sponsored funding mechanism for eligible clubs
Objective:
- enhance passing success rates at rural schools and other lower income schools.
- creating innovative global youth
- confidence booster
- making learning a visual delight
