Stillwater Sunrise Rotary Club - Stillwater, Minnesota

Sustainability is a popular term these days but what does it mean and is it something that our club should be working on?  During Roy Sjoberg's 2008-09 year as District Governor, he introduced the idea of sustainability to the clubs as an opportunity for community service projects.  In addition, District 5960's annual conference in River Falls included a strong emphasis on sustainability with some terrific speakers.  The District's website also includes many resources on the topic.

Stillwater Sunrise will be spending the next year exploring the topic of sustainability to get a getter understanding of what it means to our club and to the families of the St. Croix Valley.  We will be bringing in speakers, utilizing the talent and resources within our membership and discussing ideas at our board meetings to identifying our opportunities for service projects.
